Tune Hotel Asoke is a quiet, clean, and modern-looking hotel in central Bangkok that's only a 2-minute walk away from Sukumvit MRT Station and Asok BTS Station as well as Terminal 21 shopping mall which includes a movie theater. The MRT conveniently links to Airport Rail Link so it's only 45 minutes to Suvarnabhumi Airport. Soi Cowboy, a small street packed with go-go bars, is a short walk away on the other side of the mall.

We paid under 1000 baht per night - it can be booked online via the hotel site, agoda or booking.com. The room itself is only 14 square meters, quite small but has everything, including a very comfortable bed, a safe, ceiling fan and an air-conditioner, a flatscreen TV, a hairdryer, bedside tables, and a fold down table (no chair though so you need to sit on the edge of the bed). The shower is simply amazing! Wifi works well.

Although it's fairly quiet most of the time, if your neighbors watch TV late at night, it would be noisy in your room because it's not soundproof at all. Laundry service takes 2 days and is charged by piece so it can get fairly pricey. After check out, you can leave your luggage at reception for 50 baht a piece.

There is a small shop at reception, selling drinks as well as sandwiches at 50 baht each — not really the best but available if you don't feel like heading out. I think the nearest 7-11 is the one next to the entrance of Soi Cowboy on the other side of Terminal 21 shopping mall — at night, there are a lot of bar girls at street side bars next to it. There are some restaurants within a short walk, but the mall has the most options — mostly pretty pricey but the food court has some cheaper choices.
