SMOKERS

A T T E N T I O N    S M O K E R S

Why do you smoke near non-smokers when you're on vacation? Sure, you're free to smoke, but I should also be entitled to fresh air, especially since I'm also on holiday!
Why should I have to breathe in your second-hand smoke? What if I sprayed toxic fume in your face without asking you if you mind first?! Please be considerate. Don't be an asshole. Please take a moment to think about the following situations:

The ocean is beautiful. I look around and find an empty beach chair, pay for a drink, start to relax and drift off to sleep. You light up a cigarette. I choke on the nasty smoke blowing my way. You're happy. I'm not. In fact, I'm hating you. Now, am I the one who has to move? What kind of world do we live in? We both know in most developed countries where most of you smoking tourists come from, smokers need to go to a designated spot and not affect the majority of others wanting some clean air!! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK THAT YOU DON'T RUIN MY VACATION BECAUSE YOU HAVE A NASTY HABIT YOU CAN'T QUIT?
I get in my room with the windows open since it's hot out. You start smoking outside. Now my room is smoky. I cough repeatedly because I CAN'T BREATHE. IN MY OWN ROOM. THAT I PAID FOR. Where am I suppose to go?! You're happily smoking away. I'm in my now smoke-filled room miserable wishing that bad things will happen to you because I can't really interfere with your "freedom to smoke". What about my basic human right to breathe?!

I'm all for personal freedom, but it really shouldn't interfere with the freedom of others. GO SOMEWHERE FAR. SMOKE AWAY FOR ALL I CARE. Just don't affect others.
