Wat Arun, otherwise known as Temple of Dawn, is along the Chao Phraya River, across from the Grand Palace. You can take the express boat to Stop N 8 then take a 3-baht ferry across. Admission is 50 baht and it opens from 8 am to 6 pm. Climb the steep steps to the top for a view of the river.
